Fermin Cuza, International President of WBO, and Fernando Duque, Executive Director of WBO, attended the Florida Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association's (FCBF) Second Annual Conference of the Americas, held in Orlando, Florida, December 3-5, 2017.
The conference provided an opportunity to learn of the most recent developments in legal, regulatory and policy developments impacting trade and security in the United States, Latin America and European markets. The conference featured speakers from public and private sector organizations, including key BASC stakeholders such as the Director of the C-TPAT program.

During the conference Mr. Cuza and Mr. Duque had the opportunity to hold meetings and private discussions on areas of interest to BASC with representatives from the Miami airport and seaports, Port Everglades, USDA, National Customs Brokers Forwarders Association, and various other organizations.

In support of the conference, BASC also served on the Conference Steering Committee.
